Finally we’re getting to see Salacious Crumb make his mark in the Blue Milk Special webcomic. Marking his territory, that is! Poor Chewie.

We spent Saturday at the House of Pop Culture, a great comic book store in Waldorf, Maryland where we do our comic shopping. We had a lot of fun and Leanne was kept super busy doing free sketches for kids (and there were a lot!). I even got to put on a Jedi robe and wield a lightsaber! Unexpected! All courtesy of the Rebel Legion’s awesome Charles Wright, Commanding Officer of Terrapin Base. They’re getting a lot of sign ups for new members lately. If you live in Maryland, why not join the Rebels and do some good for your community while sporting your favorite heroic Star Wars costume?
Charles trooped unofficially with us on Saturday and even stole Vader’s beloved “muggy” for this great photo below! He wowed the kids with his lightsaber skills and made the day even more enjoyable for the all the families that stopped by.
We spent the evening with Charles, Eric, and a few pizzas, viewing of the film Fanboys which we loved. On Sunday we marked May the 4th be with you day by watching Cabin in the Woods and working on BMS. And being in chronic pain. But you know, Vader dealt with it too.
HEY! Don’t forget I owe Jabba the Hutt big time, so I’m selling my stuff. Jabba is a metaphor, in this case, for medical bills. I don’t want a bounty hunter on my ass. I love how much expression Leanne can bring to Vader, and other characters like 3PO and TK8008, who normally would have no expression.
Muggy is almost like Groucho’s cigar, or Bugs Bunny’s carrot… 🙂
