I call this one “The Love Boat”. That’s Apollo and Starbuck from our developing Battlestar Galactica plot twist. It seems Lando is destined to learn the hard way that the new allies aren’t ladies, despite their shaggy seventies haircuts.

cover-8f534For the last four years I’ve been a part of the wider team behind the two time Harvey Award winning The Mice Templar comic series. My contribution is comparatively small, providing Myth and Legends analysis of the underlying themes. These articles are an ongoing series published in the back of every issue. I haven’t talked about Mice Templar nearly enough on this blog, and now with the series now entering its final phase with Volume IV: Legend, the epic has hit full steam with full scale mouse vs mouse, bat vs owl, cat vs rat battle!

My article on mythical Avalon is part of the latest beautiful issue, capping off some astonishing art from Victor Santos and Serena Guerra. If you don’t already follow the series then a great place to start would be with the trade paperbacks through Amazon. My first work on the series is collected in a classy hardback for Volume II: Destiny Part 1 and Volume II: Destiny Part 2.

Some of the behind the scenes info on what went into making issue #12 can be found at Comic Book Resources, here “Making of…” MICE TEMPLAR IV: LEGEND #12 “The Charge!”
