Today’s strip was actually written by the comedian Kevin Conn, a dear friend of Leanne and myself. He suggested it well over a year ago for another project which fell on the backburner. I loved the idea so much he agreed to let me illustrate it. Along with stand up, Kevin is the comic behind a variety of comedy projects in print and visual form. His Unemployed Skeletor creation became something of a sensation a few years back and has countless misadventures available on YouTube. Check out Kevin’s work if you get a chance and drop him a friendly comment or email. Unemployed Skeletor even made a guest appearance in Blue Milk Special way back at the beginning of the first movie parody. So, in a way, you could say Kevin’s been with us from the beginning! 🙂

With 2-1B’s appearance in today’s strip it seemed appropriate to finally announce T. Gatto’s latest Blue Milk Special Milk Cartons. T. Gatto sent them to me about a month ago so it has only been a matter of finding a good time for them to make their debut in the blog. Thanks again, T. for all your stunning work! Smoking Jawa (Hoth version), Wampa (with happy and angry front and reverse sides) and 2-1B will make a great addition to the growing collection.

Gatto’s extensive Blue Milk Carton work can be found on our Downloads page. You will find an amazing collection of non-Star Wars paper milk cartons and a paper landspeeder at his FaceBook page.
