The paranoid droid
Maybe it’s just me, but the torturer droid, 8D8, reminds me of Marvin, the paranoid android from Douglas Adam famous Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Here are a couple of photos to illustrate the connection.
Maybe it’s just that bored looking expression… Or maybe its the way he’s sort of slumped forward tiredly, terminally bored if only he wasn’t immortal.
