Not surprising when you consider that Obi Wan was trained by Qui Gon Jin… a Jedi who was more than ready to use the Force to manipulate the minds of others to help move things along. Watto for example. But… I don’t really want to talk about the Prequels right now.

Could this behavior of Obi Kenobi’s be the result of Qui Gon’s rebellious behavior? But then again, it could just be because he’s been a hermit so long, one has to “vent” from time to time.
