As Luke searches the Mimban jungle/swamp/bog for the Princess and Threepio, we here at BMS HQ search for an answer to a question…

Want to See BMS at Your Local Convention?

If we’re to attend conventions near you then we need an official invite. You need to write to the show organizers and request Leanne and myself be on the guest list. It may take a few of you, so if you want us to visit your area then consolidate your requests. Here’s the info the con organizers will care about:

Leanne Hannah (http://www.leannehannah.com) has worked on Rob Zombie’s Spookshow International as editor, Rob Zombie’s Whatever Happened to Baron Von Shock as editor and artist, on Casper and the Spectrals as artist, as well as illustration in the comics Pulverized, Perhapanauts, After School Agent and Lava-Roid. Rod Hannah has written for 2x Harvey Award winning Mice Templar, Cereal Geek Magazine and his creator owned indie book Once Upon a Super Hero. Together they both run the popular Star Wars parody webcomic Blue Milk Special.

Quick question: Is the Light Side boring? Or is being on the Light Side morally rewarding? I certainly won’t wear one of those Tatooine farmer robes that the Prequel trilogy erroneously assumed were Jedi robes. Come on, ROTJ gave us Luke in a black uniform and robe. Now THAT is a Jedi. * sigh * You know this whole point came up because I saw another fan webcomic out there that is taking pre-orders for a collected trade paperback of their work. This ain’t legal folks. So, since we’re staying on the Light Side of the Force, does that make us less sexy?

We can’t be that sexy because we’re still looking for helpers at New York Comic Con on October 8 – 10, 2010 at the Jacob K. Javits Center. We will be there with a table in Artist Alley. If you’re interested in helping us out during the show, especially if you are planning to wear a Star Wars themed costume, please get in touch with us. 🙂
