Who said Lando could just swagger his way aboard the Falcon and take top spot? Despite Chewie very nearly killing Lando in Cloud City, by the end of Empire Strikes Back, Lando is sitting in Han’s seat, dressed like him and taking the best lines while Chewie growls his usual agreement or disapproval. Shadows of the Empire doesn’t pick up quite where Empire Strikes Back left off, so there is no onscreen bonding between the two. I felt that it would be much more interesting if we gave Chewie a little more respect in our parody. Therefore, Lando has to pay his dues and earn Chewie’s trust. We will explore this a little further on Friday as well before returning to the Shadow’s parody.

We missed our scheduled update for last Friday, as some of you may have noticed. Some unpleasant outside factors have impacted us the last few days, including further pain blocks for my neck and spine. However, on a positive note, I noticed that last week was a record breaker for Blue Milk Special in terms of website traffic. Between Monday and Wednesday we went from over 7,000 to over 10,000 unique visitors and from 30,000 to 65,700 page loads. We probably have a mix of social media sites to thank (Geeks Are Sexy, Nerd Approved, and Movie Citizens to name a few), along with Ink Outbreak, which is a webcomic hub that everyone should check out. It is a great way to discover new comics to keep you amused and entertained.

So, a big thank you to all the visitors for stopping by. We hope many will return and tell their friends about BMS. It won’t be long *knock on wood* before we reach Return of the Jedi! I think everyone knows by now just how much I’m personally looking forward to that part of the trilogy.
