A couple of weeks ago, Gary Michael Haertter and Al Sniezevage were part of a Tatooine photoshoot in Lewes Beach, DE. They cosplayed Luke Skywalker and Biggs Darklighter. As far as I know this is the first time that Biggs has ever been brought to life in cosplay outside his rebel pilot uniform. So, at long last the Blue Milk Special version of Anchorhead Biggs is getting some respect! Here are some samples from the photo shoot. To see the whole collection go to Subject Matter Photography on Facebook and why not LIKE them while you’re at it?

Gary says: “My partner, the Photographer and I on a mission to re create scenes and natural events that could or did not happen on the Biggs screen. We try to capture characters as close as we possibly can to the original actors and place them in great locations that we can make believable. This is our second shoot and we plan on doing more an more.
Both of us are veteran 501st members and I (Luke Character)am part of the Rebel Legion both representing our passion for the original trilogy.”

Leanne and I want Al to pose with “muggy” for a photo in his Biggs costume for Blue Milk Special? Wouldn’t that be great?!

Again, a very big thank you to everyone that has offered me kind words and support, especially to those that have been able to contribute to the GoFundMe campaign with my medical fund. We’re more than half way there!

The op on Thursday went well and I’ve been taking things easy over the weekend. Trying my best to sleep despite the discomfort and pain. We are now discussing another op (one the neurosurgeon originally sent me to pain management about over 12 months ago) which will block pain from the Greater Occipital Nerve where the majority of my pain has always been centered. So, I’m still not out of the woods yet and the recovery process keeps getting extended by these additional ops. I’m not in the chirpiest of moods, so if anyone has anything amusing to send me in an email or comment it would be welcome. I could use a smile.

Thanks again for everyone’s support and patience! I hope to be channeling full Forciness again soon!
