E-e-e-e-e-e-Ewoks!
If you have never seen the Nelvana / Lucasfilm animated series, The Ewoks, then trust me… it is not as bad as the theme song makes the show out to be. Probably the worst theme tune I’ve ever heard for a kid show. The stories were mostly very good. Paul Dini was the script editor and wrote a large number of the episodes. Worth checking out the Battle Wagon episode at least for a taste of what the show had to offer.
The second season of Ewoks went with a brand new opening theme. Throwing out the original theme was a great move. Even though the new theme was extremely forgettable, it had the huge advantage of not being the one from the first season.
At the end of the day, I prefer hearing the annoying Season 1 theme tune because it at least makes me laugh and elicits a reaction. The Season Two opening is just very “meh”.
