It was retconned that Anakin left some money behind for Kitster Banai, but according to the EU, Anakin’s “best friend” still had to raise enough to buy his own freedom from slavery. Pull yourself up by the bootlaces! Perhaps he earned his freedom through gladiatorial combat? Wait, no! That’s the Imperial Rome. I think it is more likely that Anakin left Kitster enough money for a few rounds at the local arcade.

When Liam Neeson took Anakin off to be a Jedi, it was the last Kitster saw of him. Still, Anakin is definitely a swell guy. Don’t let his homicidal slaying of Sand People, and Jedi children bias your judgment. You should always keep an open mind!

Leanne was a guest on The Toypower Podcast this weekend. There’s some Star Wars trivia toward the end, though I highly recommend this episode for any fans of the Masters of the Universe franchise. Aside from Blue Milk Special, Leanne is known online by her handle @stratosmacca She’s done work on MOTU comics, and drawn Transformers packaging artwork!

“[Leanne] helps us investigate one of the lesser lights of the Masters Universe – the Master of Flight, Stratos! From his early concept art to his modern toys, we answer all the questions. Beard or no-Beard? Just how does he fly? And the big one: Is it red wings or blue? (Did someone say PINK wings?) We then round things off with another Frank Quiz, drawing inspiration from Explain a Movie Badly. Are you as quick as Ben too answer?” — TPP

Heir to the Empire was a 1991 Star Wars novel by Timothy Zahn, and the first book in the Thrawn trilogy.

For our Blue Milk Special parody, we are primarily referencing the Dark Horse Comics adaptation and the visualized characters therein, with some influence from video games, as well as our typical made-up nonsense.

After eight years of parodying the Original Trilogy and some of the Expanded Universe material that took place in-between, we are finally able to dive head first into Heir to the Empire… beginning with a slight diversion into the book Tatooine Ghost which is set just before the opening of Heir to the Empire.
